Welcome to the
Fine Art Photography Galleries of
Carolyn Marks Blackwood. All of the images on this website were
taken from my 100 foot cliff, over looking the Hudson River in a
historic little hamlet in New York State. The view from my
perch is constantly changing. From here I can clearly see
nature’s eternal pattern; How the light changes as the sun
crosses the sky- with the changing seasons-with the ever
changing drama of the weather patterns. The unending beauty of
this place unfolds differently each day. The view shifts with
the elements and is constantly renewed, as am I. Lucky me. For
this fleeting moment I am here to witness, I have become an
element of this sacred place.

| Recent Exhibits |
Currently, she has a
show with over 65 photos at the
Lascano Gallery in Great Barrington Mass. She is
preparing now for a group show in New York City at the
Paul Rodgers gallery which runs through
January 12th, 2008. She will have another show
next fall at the
Hudson Opera House in Hudson, NY. Carolyn is also the
featured artist on
The Scenic
Hudson Website Gallery. The show is called "Elements
of Place". |
